Our extension is currently awaiting approval on the Chrome Web Store. In the meantime, you can install it manually in under 2 minutes using the steps below.
Click the button below to download the ZIP file containing the extension.
Right-click the downloaded ZIP file and select "Extract All" (Windows) or double-click it (Mac) to unzip it into a folder. Remember where you save it.
In Google Chrome, open a new tab and go to chrome://extensions in the address bar and press Enter.
In the top-right corner of the Extensions page, toggle on "Developer mode". The page will refresh and show new buttons.
Click the "Load unpacked" button that appears on the top-left. A file picker will open — select the folder you unzipped in Step 2.
The Proposal AI extension will appear in your extensions list. Click the puzzle icon in Chrome's toolbar and pin "Proposal AI" for easy access. Then head to any Upwork job listing to start generating proposals.
One-time setup required
Because the extension is loaded manually (not from the Chrome Web Store), Chrome may show a warning about developer mode extensions when you open it. This is normal — click Keep or dismiss the warning. Once our store listing is approved, you'll be able to install it with one click and this step won't be needed.
